Lego Interior Design: Inspiration Added To Everyday Life

For us Lego lovers, seeing those little colorful bricks makes us happy and inspired. One thing I’ve learned since I’ve been a writer at Bit Rebels is that people can build anything with Lego, and I don’t just mean your typical builds. We’ve featured a Lego car (that works), a Lego bicycle and even a Lego boardroom table, and those three things don’t even scratch the surface of all the Lego inspired everyday things that people have created over the years.

Have you ever thought about adding some Lego bricks as one of the focal points in your interior design in your home or apartment? We’ve seen this done before, like with this Lego wall divider, but that was so “in your face.” What about if you just wanted to add the understated sophistication of say… 20,000 Lego bricks to your home? It would be just enough to add some daily inspiration, but not enough to turn your home into a circus.

I really like what the Lego artists based in New York City did with this apartment in Soho. They created the stair railing with 20,000 Lego bricks. According to Let Me Be Inspired, “they create a flow of receding or intensifying color up and down the stairs.” As you’ll see, the other furniture in the apartment complements the colors of the Lego bricks. The idea behind designing the apartment this way was to open up the space in an otherwise tiny home. You can click over to the source article linked below to read all the details. In my opinion, this is the perfect splash of Lego to brighten any living space.
