You want a business card that will guarantee that your potential customers will remember you, right? Perhaps the business card that doubles as a gun that shoots pennies is a bit too controversial for you? How about a business card that is a tiny bit less politically incorrect? Here is a business card made out of beef jerky! Now you can get your contact information seared into dried beef with a laser. Yummy!

Before you discount this as completely wacky, let me tell you that this little invention made it into an article in the most recent Entrepreneur Magazine, so they must be doing something right. According to the magazine, “Exchanging information should be about an experience, creating a positive relationship between two people. A really cool business card can put a smile on someone’s face, and it allows people to associate a good experience with your business.”

I get that, but my question is, how would you know for sure that the customer would record your phone number before eating the card? Hmm… at US$29.95 for only four cards, this option could be costly, but quite tasty for sure. According to http://www.meatcards.com, “These are the original and one-and-only laser etched beef jerky business cards!”

Tasty looking, but it does have some drawbacks.

“Damn! I ate that guys number.” (Not something any of us want to hear.)

Plus, 500 cool points to the first person to point out the REALLY AWESOME thing about the cards pictured and its significance.

Great find Diana!

While it may not be around long, it will surely never be forgotten. If I received a beef jerky business card, you can bet I would share it with others to see too. Practicality lacks, but it’s big in the lasting impressions department.

What a crazy idea. It reminds me of the worn out labels on the back of jeans. What next burger business cards. :)

Oh wow business cards on jerky.

My be the package the jerky comes in has
all the business company info on it so it
isn’t eaten with the jerky.

If not it should have the info on it.
My be there should be a little business
card included with these jerky to.

ROFL Patrick Bateman aka American Psycho… Priceless!

Exactly! One of the things that Patrick and his fellow businessmen obsessed over was the look, feel, and quality of their business cards.

I love novelty cards if they are congruent with your business or name.

Hmmm…If only I could train a pack of spiders to weave my business cards! Until then, I’ll stick with card.
