iPhone 5 Docking Stations That Look Like Artistic WWII Tanks

As many of you know, I have developed an affinity for unique handcrafted technology, and usually I look towards Etsy for my inspiration. However, MAC, LYNX & Nior from the artist Phu are probably the coolest, albeit expensive, iPhone 5 docking stations I have stumbled across in a very long time. There is something oddly familiar yet completely revolutionary about these artistic wonders. When I first saw them, I thought hey they kind of reminded me of WALL-E, no wait more of a Dalek… err, no, actually I have not idea.

The MAC, which stands for Mobile Armor Charger, and LYNX iPhone 5 docking stations are available from the Four Corner Store online. They are some really thoroughly detailed utilitarian works of art. Considering that one of these will set you back a hefty some; I only wish that they doubled as real iPhone remote controlled robots.

Honestly, the easiest one to place is Nior, which is easily reminiscent of a Panzer Tank, circa World War II. Perhaps I am the only one who sees that resemblance, but here, take a look and decide for yourself. I’ve included a nice big up close and personal photo for you to stare at. There’s even a quick peek inside a MAC where the USB sync cable is stored. I suppose you could hide some lunch money or small snacks from your coworkers in there as well. I’ll leave that to your discretion. Finally, just to be fair because I think LYNX is feeling a little left out of all the fun, I’ve included a view of the actual dock connection on the front of the tank. You can pick these iPhone 5 docking stations up at the Four Corner Store link above, but beware, they are pricey. The MAC one alone is $395. Like they always say, it ain’t cheap being a geek.
