Insta-Grahams: Your Instagram Photos Printed On Cookies

Instagram-Photos-Printed-On-Cookies

Social media and food are a natural combination, or at least you’d think it was a match made in heaven based on how many new food sites have popped up in the past few years, how many photos we take of our food, how many food coupons are shared in social media and how much we tweet and facebook while we eat. Someone even created a whole infographic about this topic which you can check out at Social Media & Food. Today I’d like to share with you yet another way you can take social media and mash it up with some delicious food, and this time, it’s all about putting your Instagram photos on cookies!

After researching this very important topic, I have discovered that there are two types of Instagram cookies. First, there are Instagram cookies that look like the Instagram logo. They are very cute and make me want to eat ‘em up instantly. The second type of Instagram cookies are the ones that have your actual photos on them. That’s right! Now you can eat your favorite photos in the form of a cookie. The online bakery called Baking For Good will take your Instagram photos and turn them into cinnamon sugar cookies called “Insta-grahams.” The cost is $36 per dozen, and 15% of the purchase price gets donated to the charity of your choice. The Instagram photos look so real on the cookies in these pictures!

So if you are in the mood to eat your Instagram photos for dessert, you can send Baking For Good your favorite ones so they can turn them into cookies (I can think of some good pranks you could pull with these!), or you can click over to Bakerella to learn how to make your own Instagram logo cookies. You’d basically learn how to decorate homemade graham crackers. Either option sounds sweeeeeet to me!
