Now you can be just like everyone’s favorite Wookie, Chewbacca, known as Chewie to all those that love him. Before writing this article, I practiced this technique for a several minutes.

My dog immediately went to hide under the bed, and I’m not sure whether that is a sign I got it right, or not. Either way, I can definitely gargle that little thingy at the back of my throat and sound like an animal, I’m just not sure it’s a Wookie.

I’m very proud of this achievement because I’ve always had a Wookie crush on Chewbacca. He’s warm and fuzzy, he’s very strong, and he’s always sweet to the ladies.

If you can master this, you will surely become the King or Queen of the geeks! Just like she says in the video, it’s all about learning how to control the muscles inside your mouth.

Enjoy this very strange, yet very practical video with simple instructions for how to make the Chewbacca inside of you Roarrrrrr!

LOL omg, this is awesome! You know what else putting the back of your tongue to your throat is good for? It helps the gag reflex, gets you used to the pressure down there. what? I’m just sayin’ you know when you go to the dentist office and they take impressions and shove that device in your mouth with that goo?

Yeah, that.

;)

OMG… no you did not just leave that comment. Hahaha! I love it. Yeah, that is the exact example I was thinking of – going to the dentist.

Who knows, with a little creativity, we might be able to think of a few other examples of how this could be useful. ;)

Is it just me, or is there something vaguely pornographic about this whole discussion. The video itself is bad enough, but then YOU two get started…. ;)

Wow! I wish my wife did that… it’s cute and expresses emotions in a way that human speech is simply incapable of conveying.

When you made the sound in the video… I felt such longing. It really resonated with me.

The next article should be “convincing women (and men) why they should make the Chewbacca noise”.

Hmmmmm…ahhhh… yaaa… great discussion here. I can’t personally make the Chewbacca noise, but, funny story here. I used to be able to do a couple different animals, one of them being a tiger. I was in this lame ass excuse for a zoo in my home town one day and there was a tired old tiger sleeping in his cell (cage). I walked up to the bars, beside a mother and her young daughter, and let out one of my growl/snarl tiger noises. 1. the tiger jumped up from his nap like he’d been shocked and started pacing around – looking everywhere for the “other” tiger. 2. the little girl and her mom both nearly jumped out of their skins at the noise I made. They beat a hasty retreat to their car, looking around the whole time to make sure no tiger was stalking them. I laugh to myself every time I recall that day. On a sad note, the tiger died shortly afterward. The zoo was shut down after that, and a lot of animals got to go to better homes, so that’s a good thing. http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3403/3422303346_9ffc629e67_b.jpg
