Sci-Fi Fantasy Cosplay: Alien & Predator Are Best Buddies After All

sci-fi-fantasy-cosplay

We’ve featured some pretty insane sci-fi fantasy cosplay over the years, but this Alien and Predator cosplay is intense. I never thought I’d see them hugging like they’re best buds. These pictures are definitely well done and creative. The message these cosplayers hope you get from this photography collection is that friendships come from the most unexpected places. I’d like to add to that – friendships also come from the most unexpected people. These very elaborate Alien and Predator costumes, which I’m sure took a long time to create, really make for some incredible sci-fi fantasy cosplay. I wish so much we could see the people behind the masks in this collection.

Cosplayers and deviantART users PedroTpredator (Mark) and Rex-equinox (Abi T Xeno) seemed to have a whole day of fun while getting acquainted as Alien and Predator. They did the kinds of things that best friends do like play Xbox, get piercings, go shopping and hang out with stormtroopers. It kinda makes you want to have a best friend like that, right? It’s clear to see that these two cosplayers are very close in real life, and not just in front of the camera.

It will be fun to see what other cosplayers do to get creative this year. There is a trend now where people dress in fantasy cosplay for their engagement photos. I always look forward to seeing those. People are definitely getting more finicky about their cosplay though. We’ve just seen so many really good costumes that now people have to do something over the top to capture the attention of the Internet audience. To this day, some of my favorites are the Metroid Samus Cosplay that Richard wrote about a few years ago, and this Nightmarish Bert & Ernie Cosplay which will make you squirm and shiver. This Alien and Predator cosplay is also up there on my list of sci-fi cosplay.

This post really cracked me up. I am a true SyFy fan so I understand how ridiculous this relationship would be. LOL! :)
