Eye Makeup Designs For Geeks: Mass Effect, Dark Knight & More

Eye-Makeup-For-Geeks

If you’ve ever thought you couldn’t create beautiful art because you don’t have a canvas to practice on, think again. The truly creative person knows that there are no limits when it comes to creating anything, and art can be put anywhere. For Jangsara, that just happens to be in the form of eye makeup on eyelids. I remember the first time I saw her art go viral was when she created her eyelid art inspired by the Avengers. You can see that in The Avengers Expressed In Eye Makeup. Then she created stunning R2-D2 Eyes which I couldn’t resist writing about.

Today I’d like to share with you some more of her gorgeous eye makeup art. This time, like many times before, she follows pop culture with a geek twist. Below you’ll see her eye designs inspired by The Dark Knight Rises, Mass Effect, Pac-Man, Stitch and even Alien. It’s a somewhat random collection of eye artistry guaranteed to make you look twice.

When I see her eye makeup art, I always wonder how many times she had to practice each design before she felt it was just right. I wonder if she has to wash the makeup off her eye over and over. I also wonder how many times she uses a model instead of herself. You can tell by looking at the beautiful eyes in these pictures that all of these designs were done on the same eyes. It’s all such a mystery to me. I can barely get regular eye makeup to look right on my eyelids, and Jangsara is out there creating masterpieces like these. She’s got some mad skillz, and I can’t wait to see what she comes up with next! You can view more of her art on her blog at Makeup Your Jangsara or on Facebook where I just noticed she recently posted a crazy good Diablo III eye makeup design.
