We will see more and more sustainable and recyclable packaging in the future as more companies are adhering to the call of the masses to save Mother Earth.  Here are some great examples of recycled packaging created by Ambalaj Design Studio.

The Sennheiser earphones here are packaged using 100% recycled cardboard box.  The packaging was designed by Ambalaj Design Studio.  Ambalaj Design studio is  a packaging design consultancy, founded in 2008, based in Modena, Italy. Providing design service in form of structural and graphic design. Please send an email if you would like to find out more info@kristinadeverdier.com.

Brilliant use of packaging. Now if only they would do this on a massive scale. Although I doubt sales will go up as people can’t see what’s actually inside.

On the plus-side we no longer would have those horrid clamshell packages

I’ve been thinking about using cardboard more these days, it seems to be a very nice material to build furnutire out of. Yes, furniture.. a sidetable or perhaps even a lounge chair. It’s not like it has been done before, just hit google with “cardboard furniture” and see what I mean.

It just looks very nice and minimal to me. And after you’re done with your chair/table you van simply recycle it. Wonderous
