Havaianas makes a splash with this yearâ€™s Make Your Own Havaianas (MYOH). With more straps, soles and pins to choose from, there are endless ways to personalize your flip-flops. The only limitation is your imagination.

This year’s MYOH goes POP ART with pin designs ranging from lomo cameras, vintage tellies, vibrant jeepneys and ice cream carts to other lifestyle frills.

I love flip flops, I think the fact that I have 10 pairs makes me a big fan.Â I like the variety that they have i terms of design and color collection.Â And now they even let their customers design their own pair.

I love these! I also have a zillion pairs of flip flops and I wear them all year round. I never knew I could design my own pair! I’m all over this. Thanks for always sharing such cool stuff.

Hi my name is Tiago, I’m from Brazil, where Havaianas is original from, and there is this concept shop where you can create your custom Havaianas and share the photos with other customers.

Awesome find, Misty! I love flip flops! Wear them every day in Florida. Prolly shouldn’t admit this but my faves are black platform with two embedded pink leather stars. So cute and comfy.

This post is great. Thanks Misty! It reminds me actually that there are so many things that become so popular in our lives that we start calling the object from its “brand name” and that’s how we call flip flop in Brazil. We just call them “havaianas”, the translation of “flip flop” in portuguese is “chinelo de dedo”, I don’t know about Tiago, but I personally call my flip flops just “havaianas”. I love them! Can’t live without it
