Custom Portal Gas Masks Take Your Breathing To The Future

custom-portal-gas-masks-designs

There comes a time in every geek’s life when you need to look over what you have and match it up with every game you have ever played. Well, not really. But sometimes fiction is way better than real life (quite often actually), and that is exactly why creative people draw so much inspiration from it. It happens on a daily basis, and you don’t have to look for long before you hit something that will most likely impress you beyond the scope of any movie you have ever seen, if you know what I mean. The thing is, when it comes to game related inspiration, there are a ton of custom made stuff out there. One in particular that I have honed in on is the custom Portal gas mask.

A guy named Brian Cargile (also known as TwoHornsUnited on deviantART) has his very own way of drawing inspiration from the legendary games that have sold millions. Brian created something that will make your average gas mask look like something your grandpa bought at an antique shop. It’s based on the Portal game and is one heck of a custom Portal gas mask.

This particular custom Portal creation is a NON working gas mask that is purely for visual effect. Brian also created the custom Portal sentry helmet which in itself is really cool and it is, as I believe, version two of the stream of custom Portal gas masks he is currently designing. This one has an additional helmet added to it (obviously). Both look insanely great, and you can only start to imagine what Brian is working on right now. Maybe we’ll soon see a whole custom Portal suit. That would be the next epic step to take after showcasing these. As we can see, Brian totally has the skills to pull off something like that. We’ll just have to wait and see what he might have in his path. If we miss any future updates, please don’t hesitate to send us news of any new creations Brian might be working on. We would love to share them with all of our Bit Rebels readers.
