It’s definitely a current trend that when a movie does well at the box office, artists create manicures and eye makeup to complement the film. I didn’t see that type of art very much before Pinterest launched, so either I learned about it from Pinterest or people just started creating that stuff specifically for Pinterest since it is pretty much Pinterest gold. It’s like the chicken or the egg; I’m still not sure which one came first.
We’ve already featured some absolutely stunning eye makeup inspired by The Avengers. If you haven’t seen it, you can check it out here. Today I’d like to follow that up with a wonderful collection of Avengers inspired nail art. My friend and co-writer here at Bit Rebels, Andrew Kardon, is the one who found this and of course he knew I would love it.
I’m blown away by the detail that these talented manicurists can polish onto their nails. What blows my mind even more is that many of them do this on their own nails, which basically means they can accurately polish with one hand. I have no idea how they do it. It reminds me a little of the artist who creates entire movie scenes on her own eyelids. I’m in awe of this kind of artistry.
