Bewitching “Sexual Color” Photography

I’m creating a category of art on this blog that will be called OMG. When artwork goes into the OMG category, it means it makes you say, “Oh. My. Gosh.” and, at the same time, your mouth drops open. The photographs below definitely fall into the OMG category. They were taken by Gabriel Wickbold, a 25 year old Brazilian photographer. I don’t know what the deal is with Brazil, but the people, the language, the architecture, the fashion and the artwork are all always very sexy.

According to http://designyoutrust.com, for this series of photographs entitled Sexual Color, “Gabriel invited Brazilian celebrities for the photo shoot, and they were covered with chocolate, gouache, airbrush paint, synthetic hair, coconut vines, sand, and makeup.” His goal? To paint a picture of human eroticism not normally captured in photographs. These are some of the most dazzling photos I’ve seen in a long time. They grab you and suck you in, like a magnet of sensuality. It’s naughty and nice, all at the same time.
