An Electronic Goldfish: The Perfect Pet For Workaholics

4 Years Ago By Diana Adams

Are you a workaholic? Do you get so focused on your projects that time slips by, and when you finally come up to breathe, many hours have passed? I’m like that too, and sometimes I don’t even take time to get out of my chair to get a glass of water when I need it. I know a lot of people who are like that, and most of them are entrepreneurs of some sort.

If you are a certified workaholic, you go out of your way not to add any extra responsibilities to your workday. You probably don’t even have any plants since you know you won’t take time to water them, and they’ll die. It makes me giggle how creative marketers create funny products to cater to people who find themselves in that situation.

About a year ago, I wrote about an inflatable window with a view that you can blow up and hang on your wall to look out on a dreamy beach while sitting at that desk all day. Today I’d like to share with you an electronic goldfish, which is perfect since he doesn’t require any food or daily maintenance. What a great pet for workaholics! Just stick your new little electronic buddy on your desk and voila, you’ll have your dream pet to keep you company during the day. I’d probably name mine Goldie or Bubbles. If you’d like to buy an electronic goldfish for yourself or the workaholic in your life, just click over to ThinkGeek where you can pick one up for 20 bucks.
