08/29/2009 - 9:00 pm By Arnt Eriksen

As more and more people get hooked on Social Media, some are afraid that it might turn into a real addiction. I mean to the point of having to join SSMA Social Media Addicts Association. Let’s take a look at a hilarious behind the scenes filming at a Social Media Addicts Association meeting, with members discussing the problems caused by their addiction in graphic detail. Be warned – this is harrowing viewing, not for the faint hearted but perfect for some cool clean fun!

Although it may not be to the point of having a group like this, idk if it is already or not, it still is kind of like this in real life. Well, for a lot of people I know.

Like when you go to a club or bar or something, a place where there’s entertainment, I see friends on Facebook their phone’s, It’s funny really. This makes it seem much more of a serious issue, which I don’t think it will ever become.

Hi, my name is Steve and I am a Social Media Addict. Our group Social Media Anonymus – SMA – is having weekly sessions @ Walddorf Villa #Berlin. We are opening up 2 new groups in September because ppl keep flooding in since beginning of summer.
BTW FBing at a party or else doesn’t nec mean you’re an addict. Get used to changes. They’re what all this is about. #xistence
And now, try to be funny again.
Greets, Steve

Are you a 12-step group? If so, you’re part of the disease/addiction business, and 12 steps are a religious cult. God is mentioned more than 6 times in steps.
If you’re not a 12 step cult, then I wish you all the best.
Rational Recovery is helpful to anyone addicted to food, drugs, booze, internet. Just a book – no sponsors, meetings, or disease crap.

Well done! The first step is to admit that we are powerless over social media and can not control it!
