A Touching Example of Twitter Friendship

02/27/2010 - 5:00 pm By Diana Adams

One of my favorite aspects of Twitter is the collaboration that happens among us. The creative energy that flows on Twitter has always been very inspiring to me, and it’s such a treat to see that happiness and cooperation manifest into something we can all enjoy together, whether it is a blog, an event, or in this case, a song.

According to @MARCOME’s bio, she is a Canadian singer songwriter & musician. If you follow her on Twitter, then you are very familiar with the positive and uplifting tweets that she sends. If you follow @zaibatsu, you know that he and @MARCOME are great friends, and it’s so nice to watch them support each other in their endeavors.

Friendship on Twitter is so wonderful because we all have so many opportunities to help each other grow and learn. I truly feel like we are all part of a big family. I would do anything for my Twitter friends, and they know they can count on me for whatever support they need. Here is where the magic of Twitter happened, I received a tweet from my very good friend Chris @The_Tech_Update who retweeted a tweet from my dear friend Anita @ModelSupplies who retweeted a link to @zaibatsu’s redux page, which is where I was really inspired by this story and this song.

You never know when you send a tweet who will be touched by it!

According to YouTube, “Marcome’s Twitter hit song features music artist & singer Bruno Pelletier. Written, arranged and produced in signature Marcome style, it’s a refreshing take on love, sharing and traveling the web on Twitter.” Marcome adds, “I would really like to give a huge thank you to Reg Saddler (@zaibatsu) for inspiring me to do this Twitter Song project. I’m grateful to my friends and followers on Twitter who gave me so much love and kindness. I’m proud to be alive because you are there with me! Musical Kisses for all! Marcome xx” You can read more about this song here.”

What an inspiring example of Twitter creativity, love and friendship!
Thank you to all my Twitter friends for allowing me to be a part of your life.

Love Marcome. I’m her devoted tweep– her tweets always make my day. Her new video, Twitter Me Some Love is such a wonderful combination of her unique musical sound and her inspiring philosophy of life– it kind of says it all about Marcome

Marcome is a wonderful person and possibly the sweetest person on Twitter. I love the sentiment behind this song and how it came about.

It is certainly a unique coincidence, as I was just speaking with my good friend @ElementsofJazz in the realization that we first begin our journey on twitter within a week of each other.

And absolutely @Marcome is an amazing artist and I am glad I had the opportunity to connect her and @Zaibatsu and the many others who I would not of ever known had I not taken that first step in setting up an account on twitter, as my profile amply states I had no idea, and today I am very fortunate to be connected to some amazing people.
