I’m not thrilled about all of them, but some of them are just awesome, it seems a lot of that 80s and early 90s spirit is being revisited. Guess the world is beyond bashing the 80s as something trashy and is revisiting the most awesome aspects of that period. Well, I like it and would sure love a pair of Sonic Nike shoes, they look wicked!

Why should he be careful? These aren’t actually produced. The template for the Nike can be found with a simple Google search. Not knocking how creative these shoes are but they are NOT real (sorry to burst eveyones bubble) and I’m willing to be that some of these wouldn’t even translate to actual production in the way that people would want. Happy hoping people.

Several of these are photoshopped. The ‘Kill Bill’ shoe is the biggest violator. Forgot to click ‘Multipy’ on the art layer. Look close on these – the art doesn’t wrap around the back the shoe or follow the flow of the leather material. I’d say a couple of these are handmade (Twitter, Michael Jackson) but the majority are clever photo editing or mockups. I’ve been doing graphic design/photo editing for 15 years. Easy to spot when you know what to look for. Oh, RUN DMC wore Adidas exclusively; even had a song about them.
