17 Creative Circuit Board Inspired Designs
For non-geeks, circuit boards are ugly, sharp, confusing pieces of computer hardware that really make no sense at all. On the other hand, to geeks, circuit boards are beautifully detailed designs that can do magical things. They are eco-friendly and very interesting. Sometimes geeks even collect old circuit boards just for fun.
If you are not a geek, you are probably wondering why anyone would ever create a design inspired by a boring old circuit board. If you are a geek, you would answer that by saying, “Why not?” After all, circuit boards are waaaaay too interesting to be stuck inside a computer all the time, right? That’s what I’m sayin!
Since I work with computers everyday, I’ve been to many offices where I’ve seen geeks decorate their cubicles with circuit boards. Recently I watched a colleague of mine turn his circuit boards into bookends. It was a really creative design. As you can see from all the examples below, there are many people who are inspired by those green boards we usually keep hidden inside our computers. I hope you enjoy these. The circuit board boxers are my fav. Oh yeah baby… #sexy. LOL
