10 Geeky Quilts & Baby Blankets To Keep Your Future Geek Warm

geek-baby-blankets-quilt

Gone are the days when baby blankets are all pink or light blue. These days, babies have style, and if you are raising a future geek, he or she would probably prefer a geekier blanket or quilt than most babies. After all, you want to give your future geek a head start in life, so it’s important to make sure Star Wars, Doctor Who, Star Trek, Zelda, Tetris, Batman and Princess Peach are in your home at all times, right?

Well, that might be overdoing it a bit, but these geeky baby blankets and quilts I found will definitely give your baby some geek cred. You can’t go wrong with any of these. I’m not sure who made the iPhone quilt, but all the rest of these are for sale right now on Etsy.

Each one of these baby blankets and quilts are handmade and fabulous. It’s impossible for me to choose my favorite one out of this collection because I like them all so much. That Batman blanket that fits perfectly in the crib is definitely high on the list, and that Etsy artist will create Superman and other superhero baby blankets also.

The next time you are invited to a baby shower for one of your geeky friends, instead of taking a gift that’s just like everyone else’s, spice it up a little. Take one of these geeky baby blankets instead. Your friend will appreciate it, and you’ll sleep well at night knowing you helped a future geek along the way. If you want to check out another geeky baby gift, click over to the My Jedi Quiet Book: A Star Wars Embroidered Storybook. That is also available on Etsy, and it’s another wonderful, handmade baby geek treasure.
