8 Top Secret Star Wars Movies To Be Released By Disney

star-wars-movies-disney-header

The announcement that Disney bought Lucasfilm has been big news all week. Some people love the idea, and some people hate it, but almost everyone seems to be talking about it. It will definitely feel odd the first time we go see the new Star Wars movies from Disney. There is just something about “Disney” and “geek” that don’t seem to go together, but what do I know. One thing we can all agree on is that this announcement sparked and spawned all kinds of creativity in artists around the world, and there have been some inspiring Disney and Star Wars mashups making the rounds this week.

Yesterday Richard wrote about some Star Wars movies and Disney movies mashed up in the form of 10 Illustrations Of Disney Characters Sneaking Into Star Wars. Those clever drawings were so well done, and today I have another Star Wars and Disney doodad to share with you.

The funny guys (Charlie and Andy) behind the website How To Be A Dad seem to have some insider information. According to their website, “We have been corresponding with Disney about the Lucasfilm acquisition, even before the purchase was final. And they have given us inside access about the development of these new films.” Then they presented these top secret Star Wars movies which will soon be released under Disney management. Not only did they release these movie titles, they also wrote a paragraph about each movie so you can get the inside scoop on the plot. You can read those at Disney Announces Possible Star Wars Film Titles.

When you start thinking about it, there are so many others that could have been added to this list too. Maybe Star Wars Movies and Disney will mesh well together after all. Nice job, guys. I’m not gonna lie, these made me giggle for real.
