What do you think qualifies as living a life of luxury? For some people, it’s living in a fancy house or driving a new sports car. For others, it’s when they’ve paid off all their debt so they can finally feel free to breathe. My idea of living a life of luxury is a little different. Just the other day when I filled Mary‘s bowl with water, I thought about how my dog always has fresh, clean water to drink, yet there are over 800 million people on this planet who don’t have access to clean water.
Can you imagine drinking a glass full of dirty water each time you are thirsty? Not only do I have enough water, but my dog gets cleaner water than many people. I feel blessed and grateful each time I think about that, and to me, that is living a life of luxury. I don’t take that for granted. A while back, Rich Kids Of Instagram created a little stir on and off social media. Although people seemed to be fascinated by this inside look into those kids’ lives, I didn’t write about it because I didn’t want to contribute to that bizarre ego trip.
When I saw this though, Rich Cats Of Instagram, I had to giggle. This is hilarious. These cats prefer Chanel, Tiffany & Co. and Gucci. You can see them as they check out their purr-chases (good one Design Taxi). This is obviously a little spoof on the Rich Kids version, and I love it. That cat with that champagne bottle leaning on him looks like he’s thinking, “Get this f— heavy bottle off of me. What’s wrong with you crazy people?” One cat has gone astray with his riches, and you see him there with drugs, cigarettes and alcohol. Maybe he needs kitty rehab. Cute.
