12 Creative Halloween Costumes For Moms Who Are Preggers

Preggers-Creative-Halloween-Costumes-Ideas

I can’t believe it’s almost time to start thinking about Halloween costumes again! This is the 4th year in a row that I’m writing about Halloween costumes here on Bit Rebels, and it never gets old. Today I’d like to show you something that will help you if you’re preggers and make you giggle if you’re not. It must be a lot of fun to be r-e-a-l-l-y pregnant over Halloween. You have the perfect Halloween costume prop built right into your body. You can let your baby take part in the fun by creating a Halloween costume that highlights your baby bump and all its glory.

As you see from the pictures below, whether you decide to go macabre or cutesy, there are unlimited options. When I look at these, it makes me realize you can do just about anything with a big preggers bump. You can choose to make an intricate costume that really goes all out, or you can just get a couple jars of body paint and go to town that way too. There are several different ways you can go with it.

I think of all these, the first one is my favorite. That one originated on Instructables. The preggers mom who wore it passed out candy at her door wearing that, and it created quite a stir in the neighborhood. According to Instructables, “People either laughed out loud, or were unable to hide their disgust.” Brilliant! The watermelon and the basketball body paintings just let you know that you can really create anything round on your belly with the right colors of paint. That would probably be the easy route to take if you don’t have a lot of time to put together a costume. If you are preggers, what kind of costume will you wear this year? I hope you will come back and leave us a picture!
