Celebrities Photoshopped Into Ordinary People

celebrities-as-ordinary-people

Today we are able to find news in an instant. It wasn’t many years ago that we had to wait for our morning newspapers to drop down in our letter box in order to see what was going on in the world. Now we’re just a click away from tapping into anything and everything. Of course, that is both good and bad. It should come as no surprise to anyone that newspapers and magazines salt and pepper their articles to the fullest. After all, they want to sell a lot of copies so they can pay their expenses. But there is also a huge amount of gossip that goes around. There are many thousands of celebrity online magazines where you can find out about celebrities and their latest shenanigans.

One thing many people sometimes forget is that these celebrities are normal people too. Well, they are as normal as anyone can be when they are constantly walking around with a camera up their face. I think sometimes people forget that celebrities are not very different from anyone else. Sure, they are famous, but they are still exposed to the same problems, issues and life’s constant reassurance that we are all just human.

What would happen if we stripped away their celebrity status, their constant pampering and their perfect pictures? What then? Danny Evans, a New York photographer, decided to take a closer look at this. He started to edit the photographs of famous people in order to strip them from their famous status as if they had never been famous at all. It’s a hilarious Photoshop project that I think will spawn a whole slew of online edited photographs. After all, it’s always fun to see celebrities become the average Joe every once in a while. Have a look at a few of the photos that Danny created and marvel over his masterful skills and dedication to make the most perfect seem mundane and ordinary. Brilliant work!
