Ultimate Mega Tattoos That Kidnap Your Attention

Mega Tattoos By Victor Portugal

We write a lot about design here at Bit Rebels, but I feel like sometimes we neglect one huge area of design, and that is of course tattoos. Tattoos are such a widely spread concept that to not include them in the world’s entire body of artwork would be a sin really. I mean, there are some nasty looking tattoos out there that could possibly be called insane. But there is also a domination of tattoo art that really deserves the attention of any good or bad designer. We should remember that it’s ultimately impressive to know that tattoo artists don’t work on a regular canvas. There is also a limited supply of erase and undo approaches when you work with skin as your canvas, which makes them even more impressive.

Getting a tattoo today is quite an ordinary thing, at least here in Sweden. The majority of tattoos though are small and personal. They are created to honor a memory, to state a new beginning or just to enhance the mindset each and every day. When it comes to mega tattoos though, we enter a whole other class of artwork. There are some magnificent examples of amazing and quite honestly, brilliant tattoo artwork that truly kidnaps your attention whether you want it to or not.

Tattoo artist Victor Portugal is somewhat of a master when it comes to mega tattoos, and you will quickly see why. The detail, the shadowing, and the motifs are carefully placed to match the figure of the body of the person who gets it. If a body could ever serve as a real canvas, these people should really be an art installment all their own. There are of course a boatload of other tattoo artists out there that have similar talents as Victor. I think Victor’s art stands out because of the positioning and brilliantly carried out black coloring. I strongly suggest you to have a peek at Victor’s website since it is completely jam packed with mind blowing tattoos. There are hundreds of them, and they are all masterfully created. This is just a little gallery of samples.
