If you are like a lot of people on the Internet, you have a cat. Somehow cats make people look cool online, or at least people think they do. They are like the ultimate accessory in photos on every photo-sharing site. I know people who have gotten a cat just so they can take pictures and share them. I don’t have a cat, I’m not into cats, and I don’t really understand the global obsession human beings have with cats. I’m waiting for their reign to come to an end, but that hasn’t happened yet. I’m sure you love your cat and you’d do anything for him or her, right? Let me ask you this…would you go so far as to create your cat’s dream home?
The thing is, if you were going to design a dream home for your cat, you’d have to be in a relationship with someone who loves cats as much as you, or you can be sure you’d end up as a cat lady. Asahi Kasei, a Japanese company, designed this cat dream home called the Plus-Nyan house.
As silly as this may seem, I can really appreciate the creativity in this design. It’s the ultimate in sharing living quarters with pets since the homeowner would have to sacrifice some personal space, like in the bathroom. I’m sure the cats would all love the tunnels, platforms and elevated wooden perches to sit on and rule over all the humans. I don’t see any scratching posts though. Aren’t cats supposed to have those? One thing is for sure, this would be the ultimate dream home for a cat. Any kitty living here would surely feel like a king or queen. I wonder what would happen if I let my big dog in that house for a few minutes…tee hee.
