Theme Recycling: There Are No Fresh Movie Posters

Recycled Movie Poster Theme Design

Are you a frequent movie goer? If so, you know that when you see a cool poster, the movie is probably going to be as awesome as the poster, right? Or is it? I have tried and tried again to figure out just how these poster designers think when they create what will be the front advertisements for the movies that sometimes cost hundreds of millions of dollars to make. How do you really impress the audience and the viewers so much with your creative poster idea that they actually want to go and check out the movie itself? I guess if I really knew exactly how to do that, I would be the most sought after poster designer out there.

However, it’s actually quite simple. It seems recycling is even going on in the movie industry and specifically in the poster design departments. What I mean is… Have you ever felt that déjà vu feeling when you have gazed upon the movie poster of the movie you are just about to see? You probably shrugged it off and thought to yourself that you must be tired or maybe your brain cells aren’t keeping up with each other, and as a result, you get that déjà vu feeling from time to time.

Well, it so happens that you aren’t entirely wrong when you feel that way. The creators of the movie posters we continuously get fed are actually masterfully recycling to the point where it almost gets ridiculous. I think you will know what I mean when you have a look at these batches of movie posters that ALL have at least a million sisters and brothers to count as their relatives. Well, maybe not a million, but you know what I mean, right? It’s utterly INSANE!
