The Smallest Art Gallery In The Whole World

Worlds Smallest Art Gallery

When a photographer who takes massively large photos wants to showcase them on the Internet, it can be a challenge. After all, our computer screens are only so wide, so capturing the full depth of a photograph of this magnitude can require a creative mind to figure out the details in order to display it in a way that does it justice.

Different photographers take different approaches to achieving this end. For example, some choose to feature their works via a panoramic effect, giving an interactive 360-degree experience to the viewer. Others choose to come up with a never before seen custom approach by using some imagination and a photo stitching software.

Photographer David Anthony Hall came up with an even different way to do this. He decided to create the world’s smallest art gallery. By reducing his massive works down to 1:50 and putting small plastic people next to them, he is able to redefine the scale of his work which views well on a computer screen. The size of the artwork in relation to the size of a person in real life is exactly portrayed in the scale of this mini art gallery. You can learn more about this on One2Fifty, the website he started to feature his photography presented with this technique. This is creativity at its best!
