The Kryptonite Necklace: Make Your Superman Defenseless

5 Years Ago By Diana Adams

Ladies, wouldn’t it be cool if there was a magical necklace that we could wear that would make the men in our lives fall completely under our spell? They would be powerless, and at our mercy. Hmm… I can imagine so many fun applications for that. Of course, our superpowers would only be used for good. *wink*

According to RetroNew, a vintage jeweler on Etsy, this necklace was part of a factory buyout several years ago. The chain is a little tarnished, but don’t worry, it still promises to make the Superman in your life defenseless. She even sends a little “S” Superman label with it to make it more authentic. You can get it on Etsy for 30 bucks if you’d like to purchase it.

The thing I like most about this is that I don’t think it would be hard to make one of these necklaces at home. After all, it’s not the necklace, it’s the idea that is so cute. All we’d need is a special stone (preferably bright green), a long chain, a few clasps and a few tools. I’ve seen some beautiful inexpensive stones in museum and art shops that would be perfect for this. While we’re at it, we could make some matching Wonder Woman arm cuffs. Okay, maybe I’m taking this superpower thing a little too far…
