Superheroes Bad Laundry Day: They Aren’t Perfect Either

Superheroes Bad Laundry Day Illustrations

Usually whenever we read about superheroes, they are doing something superhero-ish like saving the world or being perfect in every way. As it turns out, they aren’t so perfect after all. I love that. It’s almost as much fun as discovering Barbie isn’t so perfect either. It’s nice to know they are only human, and they can mess up something as simple as their laundry.

In their defense though, I still mess up my laundry too. I know it’s important to separate the dark colored clothes from the light colored clothes, but sometimes I get in a hurry and my light colored clothes turn out pink. It’s a good thing I really like the color pink.

In these illustrations from a series called Bad Laundry Day, artist Goentix shows superheroes who accidentally got parts of their costumes mixed up. I suppose in order for this to happen that would mean they are all roommates, right? You’ll see Captain America, Thor, Catwoman, Wonder Woman, Flash and Green Lantern all looking a bit confused. If you would like to purchase a print of any of these, you can visit Goentix’s Etsy Store where he is selling them for $22 each. You can also learn more about his by visiting his flickr.
