Star Wars Cupcakes With Handmade Edible Lego Minifigs

star-wars-lego-cupcakes

We’ve written tons of articles on Bit Rebels about Star Wars and cupcakes, but we haven’t written any about actual Star Wars cupcakes, so when I saw this, I had to stop what I was doing to write about it. Geeks and cupcakes seem to go hand in hand, and I’m not sure why that is. It’s probably because geeks are brilliant, and they know of the happiness and joy a cupcake holds within.

About a week ago, Alan wrote about some Star Wars cupcake stencils. Although those were super creative, to me, they don’t really create a Star Wars cupcake. What I’m about to share with you are definitely Star Wars cupcakes. Not only do these embody everything Star Wars, but they also incorporate our other favorite source of inspiration… Lego. Do you see the Star Wars Lego minifigs on top of these cupcakes? Those are all edible! Not only that, but if you go to Amazon (or that box in the corner of your basement) and look at the real Star Wars Lego minifigs, you’ll see that these are exact replicas.

Cake Central user Andytibaby molded each one of these Star Wars Lego minifig cupcake toppers by hand. To make them even better, they are apparently chocolate flavored. The handmade R2-D2 on the top of the tower is such a nice touch. I can only imagine how much time and patience it must have taken to make each one of these. I love this chocolatey delicious labor of love, and I wish I could gobble a few of these up right now.
