Photoshop | Tutorials The Douchebag Way

First there was the “Manual” research method to learning Photoshop. It was basically just to pound your head through Photoshop’s Manual and just try and remember it all. Then came the written tutorials. Simplified tutorials that addresses certain techniques or effects that you wanted to achieve. This quickly became the standard and a huge success for learning Photoshop. After that came the video tutorials. Yup, we have all seen them and I have posted a lot of them here on Bit Rebels in order to help educate the ones interested in the many techniques of Photoshop.

So, what’s next then? Well, I have found an interesting approach and twist to the whole video tutorial genre and it comes from a designer named Donnie Hoyle. In each episode he has a new and hilarious way of teaching you how to do certain things in Photoshop. After watching the latest episode I found myself really drawn to check out the other tutorials. Considering the name of the series, “#You Suck at Photoshop“, how can it be anything other than entertaining. He bashes pretty much everyone and everything and I must admit I think it’s a great idea.

You can find a whole heap of great tutorials through Donnie Hoyle’s own YouTube channel “MyDamnChannel“. The tutorials are professional yet humorous and the results are pristine to say the least. If you haven’t checked out this series yet you should. I am dead sure you won’t regret it! Enjoy!
