Rainbow Pencils Will Let You Make A Rainbow Whenever You Sharpen Them

Often times it’s the simplest things in life that bring us the most joy. Today I read a quote that said, “You aren’t wealthy until you have something money can’t buy.” I think that is part of the lyrics to a Garth Brooks song, and it’s definitely true. What I’d like to share with you today isn’t free, but it’s a very simple way to bring happiness into your daily life. This is a rainbow pencil that lets you make a rainbow each time you sharpen it.

If you always wanted to know how to make a rainbow, here ya go. Even better yet, you can make that rainbow right there at your desk. This is a project called Rainbow Pencils, and it’s currently a campaign on Kickstarter. With 25 days to go, they’ve already raised over double what their goal was, so this is a sure thing.

These are very special pencils, and when you sharpen them, they’ll automatically create a colorful rainbow with the pencil shavings. Imagine what it would be like to get rainbows every time you sharpen your pencil! Since they are made from 6 colorful layers of recycled paper (not wood), no trees have to be used to make them.

It’s such a simple idea with a happy result. I may never look at an ordinary, boring, wood pencil the same way again. They come in five pencils to a pack, and you can choose from black or white finish. I much prefer using a pencil to a pen, so when I saw this, I immediately knew I wanted to share it with you. If you’d like to get some of these so you can make a rainbow for yourself, you can just click over to the Kickstarter page. Happy pencil sharpening!
