Massive Cherry Blossom Tree Painting Made Out Of Cupcakes

cherry-blossom-epic-cupcake-painting

Yesterday I got on a kick where I wanted to completely flush out this sugary need I have each and every day. I have been drinking tea for over 20 years, and I always have some kind of sweetener in there to make it more to my taste. As most of you know, I love drinking tea, and I have gallons of it every day. It has just become a necessity for my creativity to be inspired. However, I am becoming ever more aware of the damage sugar causes our bodies, and am finally ready to find a substitute for it. I posted my humble thoughts and questions about it on Facebook the other day, and the replies have been awesome. There are plenty of great ways to sweeten your tea without having to use sugar.

But then today… BAM! I stumbled over an article that made that sugary need come right back. I mean, with a vengeance! I am still trying to fend off the urge to eat whatever has sugar in it to complement what I found. So what the heck did I find? Well, it’s the most awesome “painting” I have seen in a long time. It is made up of cupcakes in different flavors and colors, and it depicts a cherry blossom tree in an epic scale.

It’s created by Crumbs and Dollies bakery and consists of 10,000 cupcakes. If that is not enough to sweeten anyone’s tooth, I don’t really know what is. I can’t imagine being the one who put all that together. The urge would overcome my restraint, and I would gobble up as much of it as I possibly could. I would go on a rampage in cupcake land, if you know what I mean. When viewed from a distance, this epic scaled cupcake painting is quite astonishing. It is epic to the degree of absolute madness. Just thinking about the fact that all of these cupcakes had to be created is enough to make your head spin. I can just hope that all of these got eaten at some point (before they were in the open and in the heat for too long) so they were not all wasted. Yum!
