Knitted Chicken and Steak – Craft Inspiration

What can rival the kind of creative insanity (or genius) required to embroider bread? Knitting slabs of meat and wrapping them up like the butcher, of course!

Pictured below are design student Stephanie Casper’s knitted creations including a T-bone steak, a rotisserie chicken, a ham, some sausage links and a big ‘ol fish head.

Why did she make these? Who the hell knows. Why do any super creative people create what they do? Probably just because they can, and I like it. I couldn’t tell you how she made these; however, I did find a link that shows you how to make a plush irradiated sirloin complete with LEDs. Nom nom!
