Inspiring Architecture: Hotel Balcony Swimming Pools [12 Pics]

Balcony Hotel Swimming Pools

I don’t know if it’s because everybody is itching for summer to get here or what, but articles about beautiful resort swimming pools have been very popular lately. Since I’ll be sitting in a suite on the ocean all next week while I write my Bit Rebels articles, I thought I’d share some of the most unusual and incredible hotel balcony pools I could find with you today.

A few of these pools below were designed by cyber architect James Law. In this first picture below, he designed a series of pools which creates an outstanding effect. The second picture below is not designed by James. It is from the InterContinental Festival City Hotel in Dubai. The pool you see there extends beyond the edge of the hotel, and it has a transparent bottom so swimmers and the people below can both have quite a view. That one would probably give skinny dipping a whole different experience.

Before I saw these photos, I thought this infinity pool was about as unique as it got, but I was definitely wrong. If you’d like to get more information about these pools, just click on the source links below. I just learned how to swim about a year ago, and looking at these pools makes me want to go swimming right now! I bet if you have a fear of heights, getting in one of these pools would solve that right away.

These last 3 pictures aren’t of balcony pools, but I still want
to get in these waters.
