How To: Make Edible Panties From Licorice Or Noodles

What a tasty way to add a little romance to your day! So, it’s Sunday afternoon, you are feeling a little frisky, a little artsy, and most of all, a little hungry. What could be more fun than making some yummy undies in the kitchen?

I haven’t ever made these, but I totally would. When I do though, I don’t think I will actually wear them. It would be more of a gag, and I think I’d conduct the taste test with them on a plate instead of on my body. However, I know of some people who would really wear these around the house.

Both of these types of panties involve knitting food. In the first example, it’s colorful licorice. In the second example, it’s Ramen noodles. Instructables member Carleyy presents to us her tutorial for how to make these using licorice. She used a half a pound of licorice, and her detailed instructions make it look really do-able!

I imagine the second type of edible undies will appeal more to college students since so many of them eat Ramen noodles everyday. It’s like eating Ramen noodles is a rite of passage when we’re that age. For this example, you simply knit the noodles until you create something that fits around your body. Of course, this takes a gentle and steady hand since noodles are much more fragile than licorice. You knit the noodles with chopsticks, not knitting needles.
