Geek-Cred: Fake iPhone Doubles As Personal Fan

iPhone Personal Cooling System

We’re never happy, are we? In the winter we write about how cold it is, and we blog about different ways to stay warm. In the summer we write about how hot it is, and we blog about different ways to stay cool. I guess that’s just human nature, right? It’s either that or we are a bunch of spoiled brats. :)

Right now it’s approaching 100F degrees in Atlanta. It was 102F degrees the other day when I took this picture. We all come up with our own ways to stay cool in the summertime. Richard wrote about this alien-worm-like cooling substance the other day. I’d have to be really desperate to stay cool to use that. Even cats have to get creative when it comes to staying cool in this kind of heat.

If you want to stay cool and up your geek-cred on the street at the same time, I’ve got something to show you. It’s called a white iPhone 4 Air Cooler. Translated, that means it’s a personal fan built into a fake iPhone. When you walk around with this thing, people will think you have the thickest iPhone ever created, which could be kinda cool. The fake home button is what is used to power the fan on and off. Normally personal fans are completely dorky, but I kinda like this one! You can pick one up for about ten bucks at K.O. Gadget Store.
