Food Inspiration: Adorable Little Pac-Man Dumplings

Pac-Man Food Design Dinner

I’ve been getting into food designs lately. It all started a few months ago when I wrote this article called Geektastic Collection Of Star Wars Inspired Party Foods. I was so amazed by all the creative Star Wars inspired snack foods out there that I’ve been specifically watching for other creative and geeky looking food designs ever since.

Recently I wrote about one design I found which is the cutest bread design you’ve ever seen. I know, bread isn’t usually cute, but you’ve got to see this one to believe it. Today I’m featuring another food design which could also be considered cute and adorable. These are Pac-Man and ghost dumplings.

They are served at Red Farm which is a brand new restaurant in New York’s West Village. That little Pac-Man you see is made out of a sweet potato. I think the ghosts are spring rolls, but I’m not sure. Unfortunately, none of the other food items on the menu are from ’80s retro video games. If they were, it might be worth a special trip to New York! Wouldn’t it be fun to go to a restaurant that served foods inspired by all our favorite retro games like Pac-Man, Super Mario Bros, Frogger, Space Invaders, Donkey Kong, Tetris and Asteroids? #wishfulthinking
