Flower Art: Dainty Flower Girls Made From Pieces Of Plants & Flowers

The moment I saw these adorable flower girls, which each have a name, I knew I had to share them with you. This type of flower art would be so much fun for the kids in an elementary class to create together if they have a flower garden with different colored flowers. Each one of the images you see below was put together with pieces of flowers or plants. Each one is lovely, unique and very creative.

You may have never realized when looking at the petals on a flower or the stem of a plant that you could create little people in the form of flower art like this. This is one of those low maintenance, low commitment projects that doesn’t take a lot of supplies or tools but instead takes a lot of imagination. These were originally posted on Elsa Mora, and she named each one of these flower girls. You’ll see Celina, Lourdes, Lizette, Miriam, Marietta, Rossetta, Regina and Ana.

I have two other forms of very interesting flower art to share with you too. The first one is this set of Electrocuted Flowers which are flowers shocked with 80,000 volts of electricity (yeah, not quite as dainty as these flower girls). The second one is this collection of Flower Art which takes the form of every day objects (like shoes, headphones, a helmet, a bikini, etc.) all made from flowers.

The next time you receive some flowers as a gift, or you see one outside in nature, just know that you can prolong its short life by using it to create some unique flower art that you can photograph and share with others. It’s a great way to preserve special memories and make our favorite flowers last a lot longer. I wish I could adopt one of these little girls and let her live with me.
