Doggie Pedicures: Transform Your Pup Into A Beauty Queen

Give-Your-Dog-A-Pedicure

What I’d like to share with you in this article is something that definitely ranks high on my canine weird-shit-o-meter. Some people do bizarre things with and to their dogs. I’m definitely a dog person, and when I come across these things on the Internet, I just ask myself, “Why?” I’m not here to judge anyone, and I’m sure the people who have sweaters made out of their dog’s hair (Canine Couture) or the people who turn their Poodles into works of art (Creative Poodle Art) have their own reasons for doing what they do.

A lot of us ladies enjoy getting our pedicures, but it never occurred to me until today that I might be able to have my little Mary join me. Nah, I would never do this to her, or any dog for that matter. And, I don’t think it’s healthy for their little feet to have such long nails, but then again, I’m no expert on dog nails.

When you look at some of the pictures below, you’ll see the detail on some of these dogs’ nails is incredible. After I watched the video, I realized that the groomer uses a set of water-based paint pens that dry in about 40 seconds. Even still, these dogs must be super well behaved to sit still while she polishes each one. If I did this to my dogs, they would look at me like, “WTF are you doing to me?” You can learn more about this and view more photos on Warren London.
