Do you have a good friend with a birthday coming up soon? Do you want to make something special for him or her in the kitchen? Do you want it to be a little more creative than the standard birthday cake? I’ve got the perfect idea for you. How about make some happy birthday Jello shot cupcakes?
I found these on Erica’s Sweet Tooth, and when I read that they are made with cake-flavored vodka (available from Pinnacle Vodka), cream soda (omg, I love cream soda!), gelatin, cranberry juice, fresh whipped cream and sprinkles, well, I had to stop what I was doing and write this article.
You can get creative with this recipe and use different flavors of soda (or juice) to change up the taste, depending on what the birthday boy or girl likes. I really want to make these soon. Do I have to wait for someone’s birthday? I wonder how strong the alcohol taste is. I guess there’s only one way to find out! I think I’ll make mine with extra sprinkles on top. Just as a little bonus, I thought I’d show you Erica’s Caramel Frappucino Cupcake. Holy s**t! ![]()
