If you’ve read my articles before, you might know that I’ve never seen a Harry Potter movie. I know it’s strange, and yes, I do have a heartbeat. However, I’m noticing something kinda neat that’s happening to me. Since we are so supportive of emerging artists, and since so many of them have been creating Harry Potter creations lately, I’m falling in love with the story through all the art we feature.
Whether it’s through a Harry Potter comic, a Harry Potter cake with special effects, Harry Potter retro album covers, or even these creepy as hell Harry Potter dolls; I’m starting to understand why the entire world fell head over heels for these fantastic adventures.
Today it’s about devianARTist Rotae. She created these hipster Harry Potter illustrations that I really like. I love the clean and simple lines, and how she was able to create a true hipster feel to these while still staying true to Harry Potter. So, what about you? What is your favorite artistic interpretation of Harry Potter? I have a feeling that even though the official story is over, we won’t stop seeing new Harry Potter designs anytime soon. I suppose in a way, it keeps the magic alive.
