Lauren Tennenbaum is a young designer inspired by bikers, rock crystals and rock stars. Her latest shoes have a flavor of rock ‘n roll, but I also think they are so delicately pretty at the same time, in a “be nice to me or I’ll kick your ass” kind of way.
I really like her use of studs, crystals and leather, but I don’t know that I could wear these shoes in real life. I might wear them if I was walking down a dark alley one night. After all, they look like they could double as a lethal weapon. According to Lauren, “Style isn’t about money. It’s about conviction in your tastes and the balls not to give a damn.”
