Kittens On Classic Album Covers

If there’s one thing I’ve learned from watching cats rise to fame on the Internet over the past few years, it’s that you can do nothing and be arrogant, yet still be successful. Ok, maybe not, but it sure seems that way. You have to admit, cats have it pretty good though. As some of us run around with our iPhones trying to capture their every move in pictures and videos, others try to capture their essence through creative art.

We’ve seen artistic fun with album covers before with sleeveface, Harry Potter and even retro record art. So, it should come as no surprise that there is now a blog dedicated to putting cute cuddly little cats on album covers. It’s called The Kitten Covers. According to the website, they are “legendary albums from a world dominated by kittens.

On a side note, there are supposedly around 8,000 album covers that for real had cats on them before cats rose to God-like status. There have also been quite a few bands with the word cat in them. Maybe cats have been royalty all along, and we are just now figuring it out. That would explain a few things. You can view the entire collection of pictures at The Kitten Covers.
