Booze On A Bike: The Best Way To Transport That 6-Pack

bicycle-leather-beer-holder

Since today is St. Patrick’s Day in the States, a lot of people are going to be drinking a lot of green beer tonight. Many people from here in Atlanta are traveling to Savannah for the huge celebration, parade and drinking extravaganza. I love beer, and too bad I gave it up for Lent (dannnngit) otherwise I’d joining in the festivities tonight too.

In honor of this day full of leprechauns, four-leaf clovers, good luck and everything green, I thought I’d write about one of my favorite beer gadgets. I remember reading about this last year sometime, and it’s really quite an ingenious design.

This is a bike beer holder for a 6-pack. Since I ride my bike a lot, this is perfect for me. I mean, have you ever tried to ride a bike and drink a beer at the same time? It’s not pretty. Now you can pack it to go in this special holder. It won’t bump into your knees either. It’s interesting because this was originally designed to be a Polo mallet holder. Then people started realizing you can take lots of things to go with this little contraption, and before you knew it, it became known as the best way to transport booze on a bike. If you’d like to get one of these badboys for yourself, you can pick one up in the WalnutStudiolo Etsy store for $24.
