I was staring at these fabulous images today trying to figure out why I’m so drawn to them. Then it hit me. As much as we’ve written about tattoos on Bit Rebels (and we’ve written about them a lot), we’ve never featured a selection of tattoos that are illustrated.
I’m not sure why, but that is something we don’t see often. There are not many artists who draw tattoos on their illustrations, and even if there are some out there, they probably don’t put as much passion and dedication into their work as Malo (Sevch) Galindo. His artwork just oozes with creativity.
These are so well done, and when you first glance at them, it’s not immediately obvious that they are illustrations. They are not only original, but also beautifully stunning. The colors, details and style of each one are so unique. Malo says about his work, “I draw what I want, as I want, but always with passion and quality.” There’s no question about it, the Star Wars inspired design is my favorite. Even though there is something strange about seeing a Stormtrooper helmet on a woman, that gender bender stuff is always fun. You can see more of that here. I hope you enjoy these tattoo girls as much as I did.
