When it comes to creativity, the most impressive kind is when people are able to take what they can find around them and create something entirely different out of it. It’s when the whole project is about recycling and still the end product looks like something completely fresh and new. It doesn’t happen very often that we come across something that is recycled, and yet it caters to the finesse and visually taunts the creative minds in us all. Usually the end product is an eyesore that was seemingly put together just to have a chance at going viral. But every once in a while, you stumble over something that totally puts your own creativity on edge. You find yourself reevaluating things when it comes to… garbage, pretty much.
In an attempt to hype The Avengers, Wieden + Kennedy were contracted by Target to create the Avengers’ attributes out of household junk. Anything goes as long as it looks good and fresh in the end. And by all means, the finished creations will truly rock that designer world of yours since when you look at them you don’t initially understand exactly what they are made from. Sure, if you read this article before you looked at the pictures, then you’ll know. However, if you looked at the pictures before anything else, well then there you go. Did you know what it was all about?
The completed project is a superhero fan’s visual drool fest for sure. You will find everything from Dr. Pepper soda cans to mini figurines of The Hulk in there, and it never stops. By cleverly choosing household junk that seamlessly blends together, Wieden + Kennedy have managed to create something seldom gazed upon. I have to admit that I am quite impressed by these creations, and I am sure that the ad campaign will do awesomely. After all, the movie itself is said to be one of this year’s most anticipated ones.
