A Visual Typographic Feast

The students and faculty at Brigham Young University put together this very creative video for The Typophile Film Festival 5 which is a film festival featuring a selection of typographic films from all over the world.

This particular video is about the five senses, and how they contribute to and enhance our creativity. The most amazing thing to me is that everything in the stop-motion film is real, no CG effects!

According to http://www.cpluv.com/www/feeditem/8044, “it was shot with a RED One, a Canon EOS 5D Mark II, a Canon EOS 40D, and a Nikon D80. Stop motion created with Dragon Stop Motion.” It is obvious that these students put a lot of TLC into this project. It is typographic creativity at it’s finest! I’ve been having my own love affair with words for a long time, so it’s fun for me to see them come alive like this.

“Everyone eats and drinks, but few appreciate taste.”

The Creative Director & Faculty Mentor at BYU was Brent Barson.
