Earlier this month, Richard wrote an article about a new website called Star Wars Remix. It’s a site dedicated to everything Star Wars, and if you have an ordinary item in your daily life that is modded into something Star Wars, you can submit it for publishing. I keep saying I’m going to send in a picture of my one-of-a-kind Darth Vader helmet coffee pot, which I use everyday, but I haven’t done it yet.
That website is quickly becoming one of my favorites sites to check out each morning. There is always something fun to see there, and that is where I found this incredible Star Wars stormtrooper helmet made completely from Adidas sneakers. Of course, these aren’t just your average ordinary sneakers either; they are the exclusive Adidas X Star Wars Superskate Mids. It took two pairs of these shoes to create this helmet, and from what I’ve read; molding the the leather was no easy task.
Freehand Profit created these specifically for Star Wars Remix. They are part of a larger collection called “The Branding Wars.” This one-of-a-kind Adidas X Star Wars Stormtrooper Helmet is listed on eBay right now. The bidding is already up to over $500, and there are 4 days left in the auction at the time I’m writing this. Wow, as an aside, whoever took these photographs did an excellent job. These pictures are fantastic!
