7 Amazing Silhouette Superhero Kids

So as it stands, The Avengers is rapidly becoming the box office phenomenon that doesn’t really have much competition at the moment. It is destined to become the third most successful movie of all time by the time it drops out of the movie theaters. It will probably land just short of Avatar and Titanic which still enjoy a billion, respectively 1.5 billion dollar lead. It would be a miracle if The Avengers dethrones either of these movies from the top two spots since they are miles ahead, and Avengers is starting to wind down. But, that doesn’t mean it won’t become a worthy number 3 on the list. The last installment of the Harry Potter series will have to make way for the Avengers before all this is over.

So what could possibly be cooler than a bunch of men dressed in tights and capes? Well, I guess Tony Stark doesn’t really fit into that category since he hides behind a full suite of armor. However, they are still a bunch of men in costumes, right? So what could possibly be cooler? Something that I would consider cool, if not cooler, is the art that Andy Fairhurst has been able to produce, which is of course based on The Avengers, or some of it.

It is a series of superhero kids kicking butt in an all blackened silhouette style that will have any kind of movie look pale in comparison. These posters spark that new kind of perspective to a series of old superheroes that has been long awaited. I could totally see myself reading a comic based all around silhouettes. Call it what you will, but these things are so spot on creativity that I think they should become a real concept. Honestly, why not consider creating a whole comic out of these? Maybe not these actual characters since I am sure it would all be shut down for copyright infringement before you could say… well, anything really. It’s still an amazing idea with real potential!
