20 Captivating Photos Shot At Exactly The Right Moment

High Speed Action Photography

There are some things in life that make me feel dated (notice I didn’t use the word “old” LOL). For example, sending a fax, writing in cursive (with a pen) and talking on any phone with a cord (and twirling it around my fingers) are all things that kids born in 2011 might never have the opportunity to experience. I remember back in the days when people would say, “I wish I had my camera with me today, I could have taken some great pictures.” Now that practically everyone has a smartphone, we all have our cameras with us everywhere we go. That is evident in these photographs taken at exactly the right moment.

The photography we see these days is phenomenal. People everywhere are taking fabulous shots and sharing them with the world on social media sites. There is one aspect of photography though that is still very intriguing to me because it is somewhat rare. That is, when people are able to snap their pictures at the exact right moment to capture something truly captivating and stunning in their photos.

Sometimes “at the right moment” photography is achieved with high-speed photography, and sometimes it is achieved from just being in the right place at the right time. These photographs below are a combination of both, and they are truly magnificent to me. They show another perspective in the world. So much can happen at the right moment in time. Our entire lives can change with one attitude shift, one decision, and one itty-bitty slice of time. These photographs were all taken at exactly the right moment. I’ve included 20 here, but the entire collection has 105 pictures. You can view them all on OMG Shots. I wish the original article gave props to the individual photographers because I’d love to give them each credit here. Based on the writing on the photos themselves, many of them came from Widelec. Brilliant!
